Derek Mernagh, Registered Physiotherapist

Clinic Founder

Derek was born and raised in Galway, Ireland. He started his academic career by qualifying with a Higher Certificate in Physiology and Health Science from Carlow Institute of Technology. He went on to graduate as a Physiotherapist in Newcastle, UK, and has furthered his education by qualifying as a physiotherapist therapist in Canada. He is the founding partner of Physiotherapy@Woodbridge and thereby ensures the company meets the standards of Rules of Professional Conduct outlined by the Ontario College of Physiotherapists.

Since becoming a physiotherapist, Derek has amassed a wealth of knowledge and experience working in clinics in Ireland, the UK, and Canada. Derek is McKenzie-trained and also has participated in a number of post graduate courses including Deep Dry Needling, Vestibular Rehabilitation, TMJ Dysfunction, Mulligan Technique, and Kinesio Taping.

Dr. Dave was born and raised in Northern Ontario. She completed her undergrad in Biotech at the University of Ottawa, and went on to study medicine at the University of Toronto. Her residency training in Anaesthesiology was also obtained at U of T. Doctor Dave is a staff anaesthesiologist at Mackenzie Health in Richmond Hill.

Tony Tran

Registered Massage Therapist

Tony was born and raised in Toronto, Ontario. He completed his Bachelors degree with Honours in Kinesiology at York University. He then completed his diploma at Sutherland-Chan school of Massage therapy. Tony takes a very holistic approach to treatment and believes that movement is key in healing and rehab. He uses a variety of techniques that include manual therapy, cupping, exercise and stretch therapy to help patients achieve their goals through the rehab process. When Tony has free time, he enjoys going to the gym, and playing volleyball.

Sarah Masal

Registered Physiotherapist

Sarah is a Registered Physiotherapist from India with over two years of clinical experience practicing in Canada. She has previously worked in a multispecialty hospital in India, where she developed strong skills in managing a wide range of orthopedic, neurological, and post-surgical conditions.

She is passionate about delivering evidence-based, patient-centered care, with a focus on restoring function, improving movement confidence, and supporting long-term health and wellness. Sarah is known for her compassionate approach and individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s goals.

She is fluent in English, Hindi, and Marathi, allowing her to effectively communicate with a diverse patient population. Outside the clinic, Sarah enjoys dancing and spending quality time with her family.

Carol Tubero

Registered Physiotherapist

Carol Tubero is a highly skilled Registered Physiotherapist from Brazil, bringing extensive experience in rehabilitation, manual therapy, and injury prevention to our clinic. With a passion for helping patients regain strength and mobility, Carol takes a personalized approach to treatment, ensuring each patient receives the care they need to achieve their goals.

Her expertise spans a wide range of physiotherapy techniques, including hands-on therapy, exercise prescription, and movement retraining, making her a valuable asset to our team. Carol is dedicated to providing evidence-based treatments and empowering patients with the knowledge to take an active role in their recovery.

Fluent in Portuguese and English, Carol fosters strong connections with patients, creating a welcoming and supportive environment. She believes in a holistic approach to healing, focusing on both physical recovery and long-term well-being.

Arjun Rabadiya

Registered Physiotherapist

Arjun earned his Master of Physiotherapy degree in Manchester, England. Prior to that, he also received his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from York University. Arjun has a strong proponent of life-long learning and hopes to further his understanding of the human body through research involvement and further study. Arjun’s approach to patient care is multifaceted and conducted with the goal of patient empowerment.

Josie Delmo

Physiotherapy Assistant

Josie Delmo is a dedicated Physiotherapy Assistant with a strong background in patient care and rehabilitation support. Originally from the Philippines, Josie brings a compassionate and detail-oriented approach to assisting patients on their recovery journey.

With extensive experience in hands-on therapy techniques, exercise programs, and patient education, Josie plays a key role in ensuring smooth treatment sessions under the guidance of our licensed physiotherapists. She is committed to creating a comfortable and motivating environment for patients, helping them regain mobility and improve their quality of life.

Known for her warm personality and excellent communication skills, Josie takes the time to understand each patient's needs, offering encouragement and support throughout their rehabilitation process.

Outside of work, Josie enjoys staying active, exploring new fitness techniques, and spending time with family.
